Uk gets lost for some time and finds himself among the stars, holding the ice stone. Jang Uk performs Tansu just when his father petrifies himself. Park Jin reveals that the queen is a soul-shifter shaman, Choi, and Cho Yeon’s father tries to kill himself to save his sister. Dang Gu and Cho Yeon get shocked to see Cho Yeon’s father entering the shaman’s apothecary and learn about his entire façade. The mages are more concerned about the ownership of the ice stone than actually breaking its barrier and saving the people trapped inside it. However, his lover didn’t use the ice stone because she knew the destruction it would cause. Park Jin convinces the king that the poetry was intended for the master’s lover, and he left the ice stone behind for her. Both Mu Deok and the prince opposed him, but to no avail.ĭang Gu and Cho Yeon deliver the poetry book and go out to search for the shaman that Uk had mentioned. He not only had to work hard but also risked his life many times to become this powerful, but he is ready to lose it all because he doesn’t want anyone else to use the ice stone’s energy for destruction. A mage loses his powers to the ice stone, and Jang Uk deliberately decides to transfer his energy to it. It can be of any size and can be fire, water, or wind. He has discovered a way to break the ice stone barrier using Tansu. Russell Hornsby also comes across as a standard cop trying to help Will find his wife, but Will's rebellious sides sometimes make them work against each other.Jang Uk has had tremendous growth as a mage, and though he was treated like a nobody, he has grown to become a fine mage who is about to realize the enormous power he holds.
Because she disappears early in the film, Jamie Alexander has little time to work with me in the film.

Gerard Butler knows how to deliver good acting as the lead role of the film, but thanks to the script he sometimes comes across as a bit too exaggerated. Because of this lower quality you are sometimes taken out of the film. Most of the blood from wounds comes across as believable, but with larger effects such as explosions it is clearly visible that these have been placed in the film with CGI. The visual effects are decent in the movie.

With a better scripted script, the movie could have been more entertaining. Because of the script, the main character sometimes comes across as a bit stupid because of separate impatient decisions he makes, which only get him into more trouble. The film starts with a prologue that already gives the viewer too much information, so that you can quickly get ahead of the story and the mysterious sides are somewhat lost. This is unfortunately reflected in the quality of the story in certain situations in the film. The story was written by Marc Frydman and this is only his second writing work for a film. This film unfortunately has a lesser level thanks to the story of the film. With this film they try to make an entertaining mystery thriller as a kind of mix between the films Taken and Gone Girl. To prove his innocence, he must find Lisa before he ends up in jail himself. Thanks to his rebellious actions during his own investigation, Will is increasingly appearing as a suspect to the police and Lisa's parents. Because Will thinks the police is taking too long, he decides to investigate himself. Will enlists the help of the police and informs Lisa of what happened to her parents. When the two stop at a gas station along the way, Lisa suddenly gets lost. Their relationship is on the rocks and they try to work on it before they get divorced.
The film is about Will Spann (Gerard Butler), who travels with his wife Lisa (Jamie Alexander) to his in-laws. Last Seen Alive is a new mystery thriller directed by Brian Goodman, director of Black Butterfly and What Doesn't Kill You.
